Thermal fogging is a continuous dispersion process that transforms an active ingredient (chemical) into a fine mist, which is applied directly to the area of interest. This technique is used for post-harvest treatments, in the application of antioxidants, fungicides, sterilizing agents and pest control. Thermal foggers use heat to generate a mist of very small droplets (50 microns), which remain suspended in the air for a long time, allowing them to reach all areas of the treated environment, even those that are difficult to access. Thermal foggers can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications and are particularly effective in agricultural spraying where large open spaces need to be treated quickly and evenly.
